As with a lot of people, my journey to Beecake has been a wild one! My journey started with The Lord of the Rings movies. I had read the books as a child and enjoyed them. So when the movies came out I just had to go out to see them. I became and instant fan of all nine actors in the Fellowship. Some I was already familiar with, others were new to me. This was my first introduction to Billy Boyd.

Around the same time as the release of "The Fellowship of the Ring", I got internet service for the first time. One of the first things I did was look up all of "My Boys" online. Several had official pages, a few only fansites. I bookmarked Billly's official page and went there often to keep track of his career. It was there that I discovered Beecake. I followed the link to Beecake's MySpace page, and immediately opened a MySpace account. Now "My Boys" include not only the members of LOTR, but Beecake as well!
